of electra
From 1993, Electra Bicycle Co. has made an impact on the bike industry with their approach to style and artistry. This project celebrates the three decades of Electra's legacy and the future of the company.
INITIAL LOGO EXPLORATIONS
The process started with building out a logo that the rest of the campaign would stem from. It had to capture the stylish and fun legacy that Electra has left in the bicycle industry.
CONCEPT 1
Fun and simple handwritten style.
CONCEPT 2
A tribute to Electra's roots through the use of elements inspired by the German Bauhaus art movement.
CONCEPT 3
Takes elements from iconic Electra art bikes over the years.
FINAL LOGO
Concept 3 was chosen to proceed with as the campaign logo. It incorporates design elements from 11 bikes that stand out in Electra's 30-year catalog.
DIGITAL
APPLICATIONs
The Electra marketing put together a section on the website to highlight what makes the brand special in order to celebrate with both business partners and consumers. Each article required a branded image used both on the landing page and throughout email communications.
"SWAG"
Collateral items included koozies, a puzzle, tees, and stickers to send out to business partners and share with customers to celebrate Electra's milestone anniversary.
